Check Us Out In This Months Issue of Soundings!

This month’s issue of Soundings features Hy Peskin photography on the cover as part of a story by Mary South documenting the historic connection between the Kennedys and the sea! Also featured is an excerpt from James Graham’s new book, Victura: The Kennedys, a Sailboat, and the Sea. In his book, James tells the tale of the Kennedy family saga and their relationship with the family sloop, Victura – How through trials and tribulations, the Kennedy family always returned to their favorite past-time as a source of character, bonding, and wisdom.

Hy joined the Kennedys on that historic July 4th weekend in Hyannisport in 1953 and witnessed first hand how the family came together around a common love for sailing and the sea! His photos captured their innocence and the serenity that Victura brought them and started an American fascination with the nation’s ‘Royal’ family.
